About CO2 impact compensation

Currently Hundred Trees offset carbon by planting trees in sustainable forests. It is important to plant as many trees as possible but it is also of utmost importance that they are planted in a sustainable way which ensures that the tree does not die and that the ecosystem around is preserved

How much CO2 does a tree generate in one year?

A tree captures CO2 while it is growing. If it dies, or if the wood is burnt CO2 is not captured anymore. Depending on the species and the size of the tree scientists says a tree can capture up to 80 kg per year.
